When we shared the list of the most watched television programs here in the United States, it seemed only natural to find out what were the most watched television programs/events of all time … in the entire world … which events were most watched by the world, viewing the same event … at the same time.
When we consider the largest worldwide viewing audience was for the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics, with 2 Billion people watching … the 114.4 million who watched the Super Bowl in this country seems … well … rather small … By the way, it is estimated that over 4 Billion people, around the world, watched at least a part of the 2008 Olympics …
