coach summed up what it takes to win, as, looking at the AFC Championship Trophy, he simply said:
“You have to give all the credit to the players …
You can’t buy these, you have to earn them … “
Later, as Jim Nance spoke with Tom Brady, the quarterback would agree:
“Like Coach said, they don’t give these to you … you gotta earn ’em … it took every one … we prepared hard … we knew it was going to be tough …”
