Hi Friends:
It has become somewhat of a tradition that I take the calendars I receive as a gift each year, and put the calendar photos into a slideshow/movie.
This always allows me the opportunity to emphasize how important it is to have God’s Word “posted” around your house … where you “can’t help” but to see it every day … every day of the year. And … not just you … but, everyone who visits your home will see the Scriptures, too.
For many, this past year has been the toughest, the hardest, and the most difficult year they have ever experienced. We look ahead, to a time when things are “back to normal.”
I think of every year. Many “tougher” than others.
I think about the weather. Yes, the weather. As I write this, we’re in the middle of our latest snow storm. Can’t help but think about Summer. About Spring. I would file that under “hope.” Real hope. Hope I have. Hope you have.
Spring will come. Summer will come. And, so will Fall. And Winter.
My hope comes from God’s Word.
Period.
Same as last year.
And, the year before that.
The same hope I have for this year.
And, the year after that.
As “different” as this past year has been, has it really been all that different?
We’ve suffered great loss. And, achieved great victories.
We’ve experience a lot of bad.
We’ve experienced a lot of good.
Our Hope remains the same:
Hope in God’s promises.
Because they are true.
